The department contains members of the Law Society's Serious Crime Panel. The firm tackles all issues arising from the implementation of the Human Rights Act in Britain. We are contracted to provide assistance through the Community Legal Service (formally known as Legal Aid) which means that most representation is free of charge. We also offer competitive rates if legal aid is not available.


	Name: Mike Sage - Consultant Email: Send Email The team is led by Mike Sage who used to prosecute matters in London at the highest level and he heads a team of court accredited duty solicitors and a range of other lawyers who specialise in criminal law.

	Name: Andrea Nash-Harding – Associate Email: Send Email Andrea completed her legal studies at Swansea University and Cardiff Law School. She undertakes a wide range of criminal matters in the department and is also fluent in Spanish.

	Name: Karen Penny – Crown Court Manager Email: Send Email Karen works in the Criminal Department and is responsible for all crown court work in the department.

	Name: Mark Buckley - Accredited Police Station Representative Email: Send Email Mark is a key member of the crime team and has a wealth of experience across the spectrum of criminal law matters.

	Name: Ben Waters - Solicitor Email: Send Email Ben completed his legal studies at the University of Glamorgan where he also completed his LPC. He is based in the Criminal Law Department where he undertakes a varied caseload.

	Name: Francesca Bettosi - Solicitor Email: Send Email Francesca studied at the University of Wales, Swansea and is currently working in the Criminal Law department where she undertakes a range of work.

	Name: Catherine Davey - Paralegal Email: Send Email Catherine is currently a paralegal and she undertakes a variety of work in our crime department. She completed her legal studies degree at the University of Glamorgan.
