Offering Support in the early stages.. HardingEvans supports YFC
Following their recent participation in the successful annual Usk Show, local solicitors HardingEvans presented a cheque for £250 to the Gwent YFC.
HardingEvans, new to the show, wanted to ensure that people made their way to their stand and a raffle to win signed rugby shirts of clients Sam Warburton and James Hook was guaranteed to make that happen. Solicitors and staff were on hand to offer advice and to show that not all solicitors were boring!
Partner Wyn Williams said "We knew a raffle for our signed rugby shirts would be a great pull to our stand and wanted to ensure that the monies raised went to something local and relevant.” "As we work closely with our agricultural clients we realise that due to the nature of farming businesses and the complex issues that arise they need specialist advice, which often combines aspects of business and private law. We felt supporting farmers at the earliest stages was very fitting, YFC is an ideal organisation for developing and mentoring the farmers of the future” he continued.
Sarah Davies, YFC County Organiser said "We always very pleased to have donations from companies like HardingEvans, and were very receptive when they approached us. With the grateful donation we have been able to add it to our building project fund that we have been raising money for over the past year. We have now successfully completed our project to build a workshop facility and new toilet block at our County Office site based at Coleg Gwent for the benefit of the movement.
