Firm climbs to top six firms in Wales

Growing Newport law firm Harding Evans has been named as the sixth largest practice in Wales in the prestigious Legal 500 listing, just published.
The firm, based in Newport city centre, has also been acknowledged as the largest solicitors' practice in Wales outside Cardiff by the annual UK ranking, which is based on the number of fee-earners it employs.
Harding Evans serves a substantial number of commercial and private clients from across South Wales and further afield, and was recognised in the 2008 Legal 500 for the quality of it's work in areas such as company and commercial law, debt recovery, dispute resolution, employment law, medical negligence, personal injury and family law.
The practice, which has 70 fee earners and a total staff of 130, had previously been ranked eight largest in Wales. It has grown significantly over recent years and plans to double in size over the next 5 years.
