There are many different forms of domestic abuse - it can be physical, sexual, psychological or threats of abuse against a person within a domestic relationship.

Children can also suffer from domestic abuse if they are witness to it within the relationship. This can often be closely related to marriage breakdown or the deterioration of many relationship.
