Wills & Probate

Making a will

By making a Will, you are able to decide exactly who should benefit from your Estate after your death and, in addition, whom you would like to act as your Executor to carry out the terms of your Will.

Our Wills & Probate team will be able to advise you on all aspects of your Will to include; the appointment of Guardians for any minor children, the provision of specific legacies, matters relating to any interests that you might have in Property together with any associated tax implications.

In addition, we are able to offer guidance on the use of Trusts, any Inheritance Tax mitigation measures that are available to you and in relation to steps that can be taken to shelter the value of all or part of your home from being taken into account in any local authority financial assessment, should you require future professional residential or nursing care.

We are able to visit you at home or in hospital and, after your Will has been executed, the firm will store the original document and your Title Deeds free of charge.
